Integrated Justice and Support Programs

Integrated Justice & Support Programs

Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported. The Open Doors provides trauma-informed, culturally grounded services that help youth, adults, and victims navigate the justice system with dignity. Our programs focus on healing, accountability, and building stronger, safer communities.

Restorative Pathways (Youth – Camrose & Area)

Restorative Pathways offers a supportive alternative to traditional justice for youth who have caused harm. Through restorative circles, youth, victims, and families come together to acknowledge impact, repair relationships, and move forward in a positive way.

What we offer: restorative circles, accountability planning, reintegration support, and collaboration with RCMP and the Youth Justice Committee.

Victim Support Services (Wetaskiwin · Ponoka · Maskwacis)

Our Specialized Criminal Justice Navigators provide compassionate guidance to individuals affected by crime. We help victims stay safe, understand their rights, and access justice without facing barriers alone.

Support includes: safety planning, police reporting assistance, court information and accompaniment, Victims of Crime benefits support, and culturally appropriate services with Elders and community partners.

This program assists adults experiencing justice-system involvement or barriers such as homelessness, addictions, or mental health challenges. We help individuals stabilize, stay connected to essential services, and navigate justice processes with confidence.

Services include: case management, justice navigation, referrals to housing and health supports, transportation to court and appointments, harm-reduction support, and outreach to rural communities.
